CircularTech Webinar: Textile Industry - Implementing the Digital Product Passport
🌟 A Big Thank You to Our CircularTech Community!
On 15.08, we had the pleasure of hosting another insightful webinar: “Textile Industry: Implementing the Digital Product Passport.” The energy and engagement from all of you made it a truly dynamic session.
A special shoutout to our expert speakers – Roman Houlbreque from Retraced, Juliane Nowakowski – Tom Tailor and Andreas Schneider from GTSÂ (Global Textile Scheme) – who led a lively discussion on key topics such as traceability in textiles, how companies are gearing up for the new data requirements, end-to-end process changes and the introduction of new DPP target groups in the textile industry. We also explored the DPP system, the potential mapping of ESPR requirements, standardization requests to DPP meta – structure, and gained valuable insights into how brands like Tom Tailor are preparing for this journey, including the challenges they face when working with suppliers.
It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and engage in such a rich exchange of ideas. We’re excited to keep the momentum going and invite you to join us on September 16th at the CircularTech Forum24. We’ll be diving into what we can learn from the battery passport case and how these lessons can be applied to other regulated industries, including textiles.
